Happy New Year to All

Before the old year ends, I received an ornament from the talented Sherry of whimsicalkreations
The Gingerbread Man would make anyone SMILE so; I just have to leave the ornament up all year around. Many thanks

The last couple of days have been mixed up weather….is Mother Nature CoNfUsEd?
Thursday it was up around 60 and today started out warm and then around 5:00 am it was thundering…then rain…then freezing rain…and yet no snow. Of course, I love to watch storms so; I went out to the shop and started to paint some Valentine Projects. (Good excuse just to sit maybe paint alittle and watch this storm alot!)
Freezing Rain on the shop window

Calves got nosey and checked out the weather and now walking back to the pole shed.

Valentine WIP

Carved and in the sanding process...plus this is my favorite breakfast of all "cold pizza and a Mtn Dew!

First base coat in process and more sanding and paint to come. OH, the storm is still happening and the pizza was great!
This only makes you wonder what the New Year of 2011 will bring!

Great Artist Found: WAGALABAGALA

OH BOY! This is my lucky day I found Andy’s work on the internet! A few years ago, I attended an Art Show and found this great talented Artist and of course bought some of his work. Then family and friends wanted to know where they could purchase his work….could not find him! To make a long story short some very special people will be getting great gifts this year. Soooo if you have the time and need a gift or something for yourself check it out.

This is just a small sample of Andy’s work!
HAND IT OVER FROGBOY

This is the introduction of Andy’s work:

Welcome to the wonderful world of Wagalabagala, where we scribble, rub, blur, and even sometimes erase the line between fantasy and reality. The world I live in is called Wagalabagala, and this entire world resides in the cloudy vapor that occupies the space in my cranium. This world is a mirrored, somewhat distorted reflection, of the natural world around us. As an artist, I take it as my job to use my fuzzy sticks and any other tools around me to bring this universe out into the real world for all to dwell in. Please dive in and take a look.
