Playing with vintage finds

I’ve been collecting all sorts of things (STUFF) for a while now and decided it was time to have a full blown Party with the Stuff!  My wood shop is a disaster and it looks like a tornado was in my paint/assembly shop. 


Bowling anyone?  Wooden Toy Bowling Set done Santa Style!

Yep, the picture is at an angle but so are the Steampunk Pumpkins mental status!  The metal parts came from an old typewritter, zippers came from old jeans.

 

Tall Santa is from a Porch Post, 3 other ones are from a
stairway post.  I have left the original paint on the bases
and on Santa robe, hat, pants.


Well that's all that is done for now and I have a few more that need to be assembled yet.  Then it will be not so much fun cleaning up all the stuff.  Is it just me or do you forget about all the small stuff you have?  This is my biggest mess I think I dragged out about everything and still could not decide what to add to my carvings that are in the assembly progress now.  Then I knew it was time to stop and eat some Chocolate maybe alittle coffee on the side!

WIP Santa Hippie is done

Yeah!  Hippie Santa is done!  He was fun to do but being 2 ft tall it was like a juggling act to paint him.

Notice the Smiley Faces?  I just could not resist, who needs a holly berry anyway.
